Meet your host
I’m Maria, the founder of Live The South and a language teacher with over 20 years of experience. After thirteen years running small independent language schools in Andalusia, I created this project to offer something different: a human, authentic way to learn Spanish.
Live The South was born from a love for Andalusian culture and everyday life — a place where students feel guided, confident and truly immersed, not like tourists, but like part of the community. After all, confidence, connection and real-life experience matter more than perfect grammar.
